Watercolor In Five Weeks
This five week class is a workshop in the art of transparent watercolor
painting for the beginning and intermediate watercolor artist.
This workshop focuses on understanding and using color
and basic watercolor techniques. All aspects of watercolor will be
introduced including; materials, brushwork, color mixing,
technique, composition, making corrections, etc.
Good fundamental drawing skills and a grasp of tonal value
are very helpful, but not absolutely necessary.
Five class sessions with 12.5 hours of instruction.

Youth Art Saturdays
Young artists ages eight to sixteen are welcome to join our fall schedule
of YAS classes. Upon completion of our new elevator lift,
students will enjoy creating under the minds of master artist/teachers,
and will be able to take home their project the same day in most cases.
Classes this fall may include the following:
painting, sculpture, collage, clay,
drawing, cartooning, and abstract work.
Scholarships available upon request.

COST: $10.00 per Saturday (materials included)
AGES: 8 to 16 years
(Motivated artists under 8 years old are welcome with adult partner.)
Composition in Nature Photography I
Learn four principals of nature photography including horizontal line,
balance, lines and shapes. Utilize a process of class critique while
exploring the use of natural light.

frame, shape and form, depth and pattern, and repetition. Utilize a
process of class critique while exploring the use of natural light.

The Power of Art
Work with oil paint and a palate of seven colors on primed panels just
like the Great Masters! Study their masterpieces and learn about
composition and color theory while you improve your technique
and concept through your own "masterpiece."
This course is intended for novice and experienced students.
